Hi, everyone!
My name is Lauren Greene. I grew up here in Oconee, but after graduating college and getting married to my amazing husband, we moved to Gwinnett County for a few years so I could pursue my teaching career. Now, we are thrilled to be back to our roots, out of the city, and back to CFO! Some things I enjoy are hiking, jiu jitsu, and reading (the longer the series, the better - send me your recommendations!).I started my CrossFit journey in 2015. Before CFO, I had never lifted weights or even done typical workouts. I grew up dancing and doing other types of physical art like trapeze and silks. However, I saw women in my life doing CrossFit and getting STRONG. Not only did it inspire me to give CrossFit a chance, it changed my mindset as a teenager from working out to get skinny to working out to get healthy and functionally fit. I love the CFO community and the challenge that CrossFit brings. I'm looking forward to pushing my limits and achieving new goals with all of you!
